Privacy
What Bundle keeps, where it goes and how to delete it. Bundle has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we never sell your data.
Who we are
Bundle is made by Davit Khaburdzania, who is responsible for your data. This policy covers the Bundle apps for iPhone and for Android e-ink tablets, this website and the service behind them. Write to hello@bundle.ink with any question.
What we keep
Your account
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we keep your account ID with that provider, your name and your email address. We use the email only to sign you in, and to join your Apple and Google sign-ins into one account when they share an address. You can change your name in Settings.
Your library
Bundle keeps your library on our servers so it’s the same on all your devices. That includes:
- The articles you save: the link, title, author, site, the full text and the link to its image
- Your topics, highlights, notes and reading progress
- Your cards, your reviews and when each card comes back
- Your settings
Your sign-in
Each signed-in device gets a random key. We keep only a fingerprint of it, which can’t be turned back into the key.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist on this website, we keep your email address and the date. We use it to send one email when your spot opens, and nothing else.
The AI features
Bundle uses Claude, made by Anthropic, to write summaries, suggest questions and cards, pick topics and answer what you ask about an article. For each of these, our server sends Anthropic the text it needs: the article’s title and text for a summary or a question, your question for Ask, the titles of your articles for sorting them into topics. Anthropic doesn’t use this to train its models.
When your iPhone is offline, some of these run on the phone with Apple’s on-device model, and nothing leaves the phone.
On iPhone you can turn off summaries, suggested questions and topic picking in Settings, AI and privacy. Ask only runs when you ask a question. We count how many AI requests you make each day, without their content, to apply a daily limit.
Pages we fetch for everyone
When you save a public page, our server downloads it from the site. We keep one shared copy of public pages, with their summary and questions, so the next person who saves the same page gets it at once. These copies aren’t linked to you or your account, and we delete them after a year without use. Pages behind a login are never shared this way.
Who else gets data
- Cloudflare runs our servers, our database, this website and our email. It keeps short-lived logs of requests.
- Anthropic runs Claude for the AI features, as described above.
- Apple and Google handle signing in. Email you send to hello@bundle.ink arrives in a Gmail inbox.
- The sites you save from. Our server downloads the pages you save. Your device loads article images and site icons straight from those sites, so they see your device’s IP address, as they would in a browser.
- FxTwitter, X and SocialData are used to read posts and threads you save from X.
- Google Fonts serves the handwriting font on this website.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.
On your device
The apps keep a copy of your library on your device so you can read offline, along with images and site icons. Review reminders are scheduled on the device, and their text can show a card’s question on your lock screen. Signing out or deleting your account erases the library from the device.
This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
How long we keep it
- Your account and library stay until you delete your account.
- When you delete an article, a card or a highlight, it disappears from your devices. Our server keeps the deleted item so your other devices learn about it, until you delete your account.
- Shared copies of public pages go after a year without use.
- Waitlist emails stay until you ask us to remove them.
Deleting your account
On iPhone, go to Settings, Account, Delete account. It deletes your account and your library from our servers right away, and it offers to export your library first. On Android, or for anything else, write to hello@bundle.ink and we’ll delete it for you.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it or to stop using it. Write to hello@bundle.ink. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Children
Bundle isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly keep data about them.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. If a change matters, we’ll also tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
